I think it's silhouetted against Fan Y Big.

There you go - taken on an Olympus E510. The first is a merge of 3 photos, the second a crop of a single image.

Loch Langavat

Stornoway Mist

Do the links work OK?

I'm not seeing either of the Loch Langavat ones, but Stornoway is looking rather nice.

Chilean Patagonia. Lago Dickson flowing into Rio Paine, with Glaciar Dickson in the background, and Refugio Dickson in the clearing in the foreground.

Lovely, I never made it round as far as Dickson, only did the W.

Which reminded me...

I took that on the way back from the yACF camping trip.  I also looked in at the Gower:

Good one, I particularly like the light (early evening I guess).

Yeah, evening time - about an hour or so before dusk.  The effect of the light through the pollution haze is actually quite attractive  ;D

On the way to the hairyport, we passed more tower blocks like that than I think I've ever seen.  Imagine accommodation for several thousand, parked on top of a monsterously big shopping mall, with hundreds of shops and parking to match.  With trees on the roof.

Like something out of a sci-fi novel it is.
