Any thoughts for this week ?

I seem to recall going to the Hurdlemakers just after the last French Ride.

Ok, why not!
Actually. Their beer festival is on at the end of September so perhaps something else?

Just an idea, The Chapel Beer festival is good for the Straggler, it's on the train line to Sudbury and is fairly Easterly.

Is that on Wednesday?

ETA: looks like it is.  I might team car as I am worried about my knee after today's issues.

Everyone that has signed in to the group RwGPS account is set as a Route Manager so you can all add & edit routes there (latest addition is Ted).  If you find a route in your own account or elsewhere it can be copied in to the group routes by clicking the More button at the top of the navigation panel and then Copy to my Routes when it will magically appear in the group route list too.  It will have a different link like this one for the Chappel BF - https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31027007

I've also made psyclist, jibers & GS member admins so they can assign route manager access to any new arrivals.

Tonight's route comes with a slight health warning.  RWGPS would just not allow me to route straight up to Stisted after jinking across the A120 - it insisted on going back along the A120 and up the parallel road.  The route is obviously round the little bend and up the hill into Stisted.  There is also the opportunity to "turn right" at Greensted Green and join the A1124 into Earls Colne for a slightly earlier arrival.

I didn't ride in today being a fair weather rider of delicate disposition but I am half hopeful of making it to Spa depending on what happens during the course of today.

Is anyone actually riding from Spa ?

After a visit to the dressing clinic at Broomfield, my finger is still a bit sore and I'm on a second course of antibiotics, so I won't be riding out.  :(
