I wonder what it could be...?  ;D

Don't like to worry you Clarion, but it looks to me as if the postman crapped on your carpet  :o

It was a walking cane up until the P.O got their hands on it.

Oh. That's a surprise, cause it turns out to be shiny, and I didn't think you could polish a turd! :o

Quite possibly, though I think I have a use for it

Hope to show you the results later.  ;)

Yeahbutt -  did your postman thread them through your letterbox, theresby saving you a trip to the sorting office? Mine did!

I know, and I was looking for your thread to add to it ;)

Our letterbox is a challenge to get a slim single page letter through.  Cinelli bends are out of the question!

I might fit them tonight :)

I still haven't unwrapped mine - I decided to reuse the old ones and keep these as spares as 40cm non-anatomic bars were hard to find at the time - but mainly because every time I look at them I imagine the postman just about to write out a card when he's struck by a flash of inspiration "hey, maybe if I just thread it through..."  ;D

I had a similar package for my Brompton a couple of years back, which the postman did manage to get through the letterbox.
