Who's still on for tonight then, at the Fuller Street Beer Festival? In light of what happened last time I was at a festival, perhaps we should warn them of possible trouble? :P

I believe bobb is quite up for this one too. We'll aim to arrive for about 7pm.

I shan't. I can't combine FNRttP and FNRttC when the trains aren't running.

Have fun all!

Yes, isn't it a pain relying on a train service  ;)

I don't know. We haven't had a train service in this country since 1963.

Looks like you should have a fine night for it - warm with only a light wind. Also good for beer garden activities!

I may or may not be up for this now unfortunately. I went for little pootle yesterday for the first time in a while and it was pretty painful. I picked up a UDI playing silly games at the weekend have have some kind of thigh strain. I might nip out in a bit to see if it's any better.

Also my sister and family are staying and we're supposed to be having dinner tonight. Although an EFNRttP would be an excuse to get out of it!
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

It was probably that leaf throwing contest we had - very strenuous that game, hard on the bones. :P

Sounds like you need penicillin. If it itches don't scratch it!  :hand:

That was fun.  It was just me and TOKaMaK but we managed to sample (pints of) the following:

Wolf Golden Jackal from Norfolk
Waveney Lightweight also from Norfolk
Jarrow Joblings Swinging Gibbet from Tyne & Wear (a well hung pint)
Milton Pegasus from Cambridgeshire
Buffeys Pollys Folly from Norfolk
Butcombe Gold from Gloucestershire
Nethergate Essex Border from Essex
Wolf Granny Wouldn't Like It from Norfolk (my favourite)
Crouch Vale Amarillo from Essex
Nethergate Essex Beast from Essex
Our last two pints went unrecorded, for reasons that might be obvious.

My Magic Bag (much maligned) came into it's own yet again ...

I wondered about this but since I'm known for my tact and discretion I didn't like to ask.  I reckon it'll be something to do with either his pink stetson or his purple helmet.

You were missed.  It would have been right up your (Fuller) street.  I went again on Saturday lunchtime with The Current Mrs R and TT and TOKaMaK.

Actually, I think I worked out the "real" meaning of "UDI", but the above is funnier ;-)

Bobb had an Unidentified Drinking Injury from the Bristol weekender!

He missed a good one - the lanes between Chelmsford and Fuller Street make for very pleasant riding, and the pub, as we already knew, is top notch. My highlights then were, bumping into a girl I used to go to school with and hadn't seen in at least 14 years (and OD dropping unsubtle hints, trying to play the matchmaker ::-)). Flying along quiet lanes in the dark on a warm night. The weather on Saturday was great too, and the Blixies Farm roasted meat treats - reared and butchered just up the road from the pub itself.

[edit] and one of the barmen saying to OD the next day, "You're still alive then..." ;D
