Hopefully my trophy is small and plastic.

I heard that they are made out of depleted uranium.

That would certainly explain the weight as I hauled it home last night. It’s the sort of weight you would want to carry when riding a hilly 200km for training purposes.

Excellent psyclist, as a reward for your organisational efficiency and all round goodness, you may haul the trophy around the Meridian Hills and give it to me as I am finished

I open this thread to be reminded of the trophy I forgot to take with me on Sunday. Doh!

Rose and Crown in Great Waltham tomorrow. I should be there.

Looking at the weather forecast for this evening I was going to give a ride over to Gt Waltham a miss, but then I showed myself Rule 5, still not sure about braving the wind but if I do venture out I propose this route.
Anyone else likely to be at the roundabout for 7:30 this evening?

GS,
Guessing we'll be passing the General's Arms at about 8:10 if the Witham Peloton are to meet you there.

I am hoping to be there but I have two plumbing jobs at home (oo er missus) to sort when I get back this evening so it may be beyond me.

Wind should be interesting.

I'll try to pick up the group on the way out of Witham by the mini roundabout at the junction of Maltings Lane and  Maldon Rd.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Does anyone fancy a Christmas curry on Wednesday 13th?  Last year we went to an Indian in Coggeshall which does curried sprouts - they were delicious!

Coggeshall is a bit too near Russia for me. Rather than suggest an alternative a little further west, given that the proposed venue obviously has fond memories, perhaps we could also do an Easter curry at a venue more central?

Please do suggest a more central venue, but it must serve sprouts!

I just googled ‘curried sprouts mid-essex’ and found the top result was this very thread. Looks like I may be challenged to find an alternative, but I shall try.
