Update this morning, 2 more abandons. One of which was apparently maxap otp. He's a strong strong rider so maybe he had knee problems again. Gutted for him  :'(

The 12 hundreds is a tough ride so chapeau to anyone who even thinks of doing it. It's certainly beyond me.

More abandons. This time all the Catalan (Spanish?) riders who, from the riders list, number 5. The quicker riders must be out of the tough stuff by now. The run back to Tours is comparatively flat.

Some have arrived. Some perhaps have not. JPM hasn't posted a head count as yet.

I look forward to reports from forum riders.

Swiss Hat and I finished together at approx 12:00 this afternoon.
A very tough ride and harder than I remember from the last edition 4 years ago. The scenery was incredible; the pain from the climbs also as well!
A superb and heartfelt than you to JPM and Union Cyclists de Touraine for organising! And also CC Vendome for their support in Le Grande RV.
It was so nice to have two campervans offering roadside controls, with food, water and drink!
Kieran (the 3rd ither Birt) arrived just on the time limit - so kudos to him for finishing!!!

Well done all the finishers!

Sounds super tough.

I would very much like to ride this in 4 years time.

From the pictures, the weather looked somewhat nicer than my recent time in the region:

Right! What's next?

Ooooh. That sounds like a daft idea.  I am in!

Come on, you've photoshopped that, it's really the Pennines isn't it?  ;)

Nope, I was there just yesterday with Swiss Hat. Surely was windy, but sunny and dry 'as a bone!
