Good news, the roads haven't been pinched, or at least these haven't

The route I have just done would make a nice MEMWNS ride.  I would suggest The Green Man at Little Braxted as the target pub.

When are you next out on a Wednesday evening then?  :P

However, MW can be Tues, Wed or Thurs!

Hmmm, not sure.  We're off on holidays soon so it might be well into August.

Waggon & Horses it is then  We'll be doing a northern loop, details to be worked out while the dinner is cooking! We have to do a vet visit for kitty jabs at 6:00 and also get Jake up to school for performance #1 of his end of year show....but I hope to make 7:30!!

Ah, finally, we have learnt the secret behind Tomsk's amazing cycling performance. He drugs himself with cat jabs!  Shocking!

Cool - I'll aim for about 2100 at the W&H then.

31 miles, 3 NH ascents.  Met JOC and Tomsk and had 2 Red Foxes and a Spritsail Gold (Mighty Oak).

A bit damp out, but not too cold.

Just read a "Have you been out today?" post by Wow who recommends The Swan at Great Easton.  That's another pub on my target list

On Wednesday night I will be at the Rose and Crown Gt Waltham with our French house guests, it would be good to introduce them to my friends from the internet. So without forward planning, ofc, it would be good to see anyone who is about. Its been a boozy week thus far don't see why we should lift of the pedal yet.

I'm unlikely to be cycling this Wednesday.   I definitely won't be out for the following two wednesdays, which means my next MEMWNS is likely to be 17th Aug.

A few years ago I went to The Viper beer festival with three French people. They tried zero beers. They turned their noses up at various bar snacks. They drank lager  ::-)
Those wonderful norks are never far from my thoughts, oh yeah!

I love France and the French but their big problem is the complete lack of pubs and beer variety.  Apart from that it's all good.

Hello mate. It would be good to meet you sometime. Have you got a tent and some panniers?
