The first fixed rider back to ACH HQ incorporating The Stags Head will win a trophy: the ACH SOH FWT to be exact.  The last fixed rider to return back to base camp will receive a genuine 1982 NIB Raleigh Burner commemorative mug.

Do you have any skinny jeans?

To enter the straight outta hackney, you must be sporting a fixed gear bike with ridiculous narrow bars, skinny black jeans, converse trainers or DMs, full beard and your drinks bottle must be full of an overpriced local craft ale from five point brewery

You can borrow some of mine.  You might also be intersted in a lock-loop for the belt of your skinny jeans?  All you gear must be carried in an over-the-shoulder back with cogs zip-tied to the back.  Oh and you can't use brakes - it's far preferable to skid stop, wearing out your Vittoria Rando's in the process.

Oh, and if someone should 'cut you up' whilst riding SOH you have to swear at them and place a huge rant on LFGSS from your i-Phone (which is held in a bracket on your shortie bars that are so short that the Oury grips touch your Nitto stem).

I refuse to succumb to the converse but thanks for the offer.
Will practise the skid stop on the prom down here spraying the half term holidayers with sand.

Why do I keep cocking up my Audax calendar this year?

I can't ride this because I totally forgot that it was on the same day as my Parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary party. Bums.

I like to think I have been a good son but I don't think anyone could ever have gained enough brownie points to miss this kind of thing! ;)

There is always next year for the audax- at least I have my first ever points on the board after the Ditchling Devil.

Note to self: update your bloody google calendar with these things!

The route check has reminded us of many a lovely country pub.  After St. Margret's I would imagine that the more fool-hardy rider could be tempted by upwards of five quaint watering holes before the Ickleton Lion :demon:

I've just entered this one. After completing my first fixed SR series, last weekend, I thought it would be rude not to  ;D

One of your AC Hackney associates was 'kind' enough to place them in a nice safe secret place called facebook.

Looking forward to this ride.
