Eddie and the Hot Rods frontman Barrie Masters dies aged 63

Saw him once with the Hot Rods and half a dozen time when he was fronting The Inmates :'(

Saw Eddie and the Hotrods earlier this year when they were supporting Stiff Little Fingers at Norwich. Knew some of their material but can't say I was a fan however he gave an energetic performance at the same time as not looking too great either.

A particularly British phenomenon 70s pub rock. Much better than punk that eventually killed it.

"Do anything you want to do"  is a brilliant song.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Do Anything You Wanna Do was the first 12" single I bought - still have it.
