Thanks  :) That was the Bronze medal race in the Men's Individual C1 Pursuit. They were absolutely delighted!

Like them! In the first one, why does the runner in lane 8 have his blocks behind everyone else's?

Row 6, back straight.

210mm cropped to just over half. EXIF says 53m from subject.

Not a great lens for that purpose - but with only being allowed one lens in, needs must!

I was in a similar position but way up higher.

D7000 is DX format isn't it, so effective 300+ish? with a 2x crop, 600. Mine was 200 in 4/3 =400 with a 75% crop, so about 600. Failings of lens (just a cheapie Sigma, tbh, so I can't complain) and camera sensor all too evident. Maybe I should sell my Bronicas  which hardly get used and invest......

I've been really impressed with the D7000 sensor - that one was ISO 1600, the Opening Ceremony ones of the Tandems, 2000

Brill! I was trying  to capture an off the ground incident but failed.

They way they were unable to right themselves (unlike the basketball) because the chairs were so solid. Like Robot Wars with people.

In one of yours you see very clearly the difference between the attackers - rounded bases so they can avoid being trapped - the the defenders, in square shopping trolleys.
