Do go on the cliff railway if you get a chance. Its most excellent.

A couple of years back it was for sale..... I tried to talk CBH into letting me buy it but she put her foot down with a firm hand and said no.... Something about the fact that I don't play with the model railway I already have.

I have been on the railway a few times, but normally we walk. I should take the little one on there one day, she would love it.

Meanwhile, I am trying to screw up the energy to stand and, having stood, to get changed and go for a ride. Trouble is that my chair is ever so comfortable after the big pre-ride breakfast I ate.

Yep, still here. Full fortnight away which has been a rare thing is this household of late.
Honey farm is scheduled for tomorrow, probably (seeing it's only about five minutes away).

Sitting with a heat pack on my left sacroiliac, drinking tea and cursing fate, as personified by the duff 20-kg microwave I personhandled into the boot of the car last Thursday week, at MrsT's insistence.

I can't get it out again until my back's healed, and I'm damned if I'm going to risk it before Christmas.

icing a very sore ankle, due to a tractor pulling out on me and then squeezing me into a kerb. Rear wheel of the trailer clipped my leg causing friction burns and a twisted ankle. Road rash on right hand as well.

it was a choice of try and go behind, potentially into traffic, or hug the kerb and slam on the anchors.

To their credit, a lot of folks stopped to check I was OK and ask if they could help. Buggeration was it was an online TT league ride and I was on for a massive PB to that point.

I think the driver saw me sprawled in the verge, but yes, she did stop.
