Teh John's Bikes Gallery Thread
« on: 03 April, 2014, 10:30:51 pm »
With the approval and encouragement of 'Teh Mannidgement' this thread is to showcase some of the work done in the shop for forum members and non-members alike.

This is emphatically NOT a 'Bikes For Sale' thread, most of the pictures are several months old. Anything I want to offer for sale will be in the Classifieds. It's a little self indulgent but hey, sue me!

We'll kick off with 'Frankenhilda'

Next is the mysterious 'pink' frame. Expect a gallery entry by Tiermat when he gets it finished.

The next job is to apply the decals which are waterslide. Oh! FFS! Why did I say yes!?

Should've thought of this one earlier. I s'pose that it's been such a long stayer that I failed to notice.

Ladies and germs I present to you Clarion's Bob Jackson fixed

Ackcherly . . . Better get that finished, he's collecting it this week! (Joke)

I can confirm the bike was a lot more finished than that when I collected it.

One more very satisfied John's Bikes customer. :)

The framing was entirely determined by where I was mid-tripping over heaps of metalwork.

Would prefer it NOT to be in the window and to have somebody riding it in exchange for some pics of Her Maj . . .

Well, if you have anything in a steel single speed (not fixed) in a medium size that could find its way to Lahndan I could help you declutter... ;)

What size?

Somewhere around a 52-54 as I am 5'9" with 30" leg. Looking for something to do family pootling with flat pedals and the possibility of a rack to carry shopping etc.
