Nectar hack

Check your points - some scrote spent almost all mine at Argos in Oxford today.  Nectar are looking into it.  A printed barcode of the card number probably works at a self-service till.  The card hasn't even been out of my wallet for a year, as I use the Sainsbury's self-scan app and it knows about Nectar.

500 of my Nectar points 'disappeared' after a Sainsbury's online checkout a few weeks ago.

I'd redeemed the points and used them on an order.

Except I never had the £2.50 reduction in my bill.

Complained and received a voucher. I don't know if there's a crooked check-out bod or if this is an error.

Seems like it might be best to keep my Nectar balance low.

Nectar have been very good and refunded the points, plus some more for the hassle.  New card number, obviously.

I have 511 Nectar points.
Will spend 500 towards next week's groceries.
And watch.
