C. has just said I can have two kittens if I don't ask for a baby.  ;D

Kittens are just gateway juvenile organisms.

The Acorns, having their pudding after a picnic in Gt. Dunmow following a ride along the Flitch Way.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Making your kid's hair into funny shapes whilst they are still too young to do anything about it, is one of the pleasures of parenthood!  :)

One of these tiny figures is MissR, aged just 16, heading off at 5am with four fellow explorers to do a 40 mile hike over the North Yorkshire Moors a few weeks back.  It was a mixture of uplifting (she made it all the way with a smile on her face) and terrifying (she then visited two hospitals in the middle of the night).  Makes you realise how precious offspring are, even as teenagers!

My new desktop background, although I assume she's saying "Get back to work daddy!" when I look at it.
