I've been feeling rubbish all week, I'll see how things pan out today but I suspect I'll be tucked up in bed tonight so can't make it, again!!!!

My Swiss reliability has taken a beating of late....this must improve!

Crikey, did you get too close to psyclist at the weekend? Gws.

Bryony Nano Brewery - the cyclists' entrance at the back garden gate is linked and there will be a lit festive decoration and AUK Control signs on front door & gate to identify the correct house, bike parking available. PM me if you need a postal address to navigate to.

Following the discussion about how far away Duton Hill is on Wednesday, it is the Christmas Tap Takeover at Orange Tree Chelmsford starting Wednesday 18th, so propose rejigging to do OT this Wednesday.  I'll see if I can scout out the beer list on Sunday for us.

Joergen

I'm purely being practical. I'm so slow I might not get to the pub until closing time.

You have all day to get there..

Please make the effort  :-*  I'll miss you if you don't  :'(

Anyhoo, if we do go to the Orange Tree the route library reveals THIS OPTION which the Witham peloton may like to consider.

Might I suggest we all come prepared with some manner of festive attire to wear in the pub???

You're all such a bunch of bullies.

Don't you realise my eye's are dim, my back is weak, my legs are like jelly and my stomach is the size of a small planet.

I'll endeavour to come along, though don't be surprised if I'm found dead in a Terling ditch on Thursday morning.

Thanks OD, you're a lovely chap.

Please head for the cycle path in the park from Melbourne though, you really don't want to cycle along Parkway.

If you're taking route suggestions, as you come into Chelmsford I would stick to Chignal Road to the lights, do a left then right into Beaches Drive, then onto the mixed use path that goes through the parks. It's all tarmac, and is the route I will be taking heading in. I stick to the road coming out.

EDIT - hopefully that's not what Carlos also suggested ... just realised he mentioned 'park', but in relation to Melbourne, which looks like it is further north.

Don’t forget to bring your finest festive tat to wear in the pub on Wednesday evening, I’ve just found mine

And would the Witham peloton like Christmas tunz from the Bluetooth Carradice?

QUESTION: What do you need to remember to bring with you tomorrow evening?

ANSWER: Your festive tat to wear in the pub!

Well done to all of you playing at home who answered correctly.

Just had a thought...

On our way back from the Orange Tree tomorrow evening the Witham peloton could stop at BOSS HOGG's!!!

A less Chelmo traffic defying route (at least on the way there) suggestion to the Orange Tree is here. Pretty much the same as used to the Woolpack two weeks ago by the Witham Three Amigos.

I’m sure josser will be along shortly to tell us what’s happening to The Spiritual Home, I gather we’re getting our own bar plus other dedicated facilities including a soundproof kazoo booth.
