Amazing historical cycling pictures

I came across this on a friend's Facebook page:



And I eventually tracked the source (because I just had to) to a photo archive in Denver, Colorado.  According to them, the picture is around 107 years old.

So I searched the rest of the archive for cycling pictures.  Wonderful.  Jaw dropping.  Had to share.

And that guy 2nd from left is the coolest cyclist until Eddy Merckx was invented.

The bicycle adapted for the railroad was fairly impressive - I wonder what speed he could achieve drafting a locomotive.
