I am pleased to report it was not one of the Pankhurst sisters (I wouldn't do that  :o).

What is left over (not much  ::-)) has been made into salad with the crispy bacon that had been draped all over said chicken whilst it was roasting. The carcass is all set for making stock.

Mr Welshness cooked a gammon with a marinade of chillis and molasses sugar, served with mashed potatoes and parsley sauce (with a hint of lemon). Sooo good

Yummy tea for us just scoffed. Warm salad with posh little knobbly potatoes from our organic box (forget their name), spinach, red onion, cherry tomatoes, cubes of whoppingly strong organic cheddar, and a dollop of mayonnaise. With crispy roasted cumin cabbage.

Pudding is toast with Wow's amazingly good home-made marmalade!

Cabbage? Roasted? Cumin? Please elaborate...

All sounds very yum.

It's yummy. Just slice up your cabbage into shreds, slug olive oil over, sprinkle cumin seeds, bit of salt, and whack in a very hot oven until edges are crispy. It's really, really tasty.

Does slug olive oil count as a vegetarian dish?

+1.  Caraway seeds and a teeny bit of butter works nicely, too.

Not sure yet. Something warm. Veg lasagne, perhaps. Or nutty noodles. Mmm, nutty noodles. :)

I've just had half a melon. Next, pig, taters, carrots & peas. After that, stewed apple.

No alcohol tonight: Monday is methotrexate day. Blood test tomorrow.

Baked spud with cottage cheese, chopped gherkin and cayenne.  Yup, it's diet time.  :P
