The Dickens Ride was quite warm, although it started off a little brisk, and at one point Bill decided not to cycle as far along the south bank near Tower Bridge as he had intended, after a few feet of more or less completely ice covered footpath.
I wondered why everyone else was walking, and didn't realise how icy it was until I put my feet down on the ground and promptly fell over. Marathon Winters ftw!
It was very lightly snowing when I left Croydon, and it had been settling on the ground, but by the time I got a couple of miles closer into central London, even that went.
