I hope it was a long t-shirt. Or are your neighbours tolerant in such matters?  ;D

Trying in central Oxford, bloody cold for my trikle home at 04-00  ::-)

And it's a good few inches deep now with your full-on-Xmas card fluffy flakes coming down. So much for tomorrow's bike ride. Sigh.

It's still snowing in Croydon, much as yesterday, when it snowed through both my commute in and return, although it's so light, that it isn't even dampening the roads or footways.  Presumably it's evaporating faster than it's falling!
Actually, it is rocket science.

Same in NW London. Temperature above freezing and relative humidity >70% so TimO's hypothesis is probably correct.

Hopefully, given we seem to have or be having a 'proper' winter, we will also have a 'proper' spring and summer......hopefully! (keeping one eye on Russian perma frost melt)

We got a fair bit just before lunch. Little flurries of dry powdery snow turned into a briefly heavy shower of bigger wetter flakes, followed by sleet & soft hail, giving me a perfect excuse to hide in the pub for a pint's length before cycling home with the shopping.

Uggh. That's the worst sort of weather, when it gets hard to walk around town and people start falling ill.

A sprinkling around here today, but it peters out a few miles up the road.  Blooming freezing tho'.  I've played for two services and my fingers and toes are still numb.

Is that Suffolk?  Or is it Papermill Lock, Little Baddow, Essex?  I pass an amazingly similar spot regularly.  Spooky.

Monday's forecast for Southend is for a maximum temperature of 0°C, 27mph NE winds gusting to 47mph, and light snow.

I'm getting seriously pissed off with this.
