Cold, grey & windy in Liverpool. A few very fine snowflakes, but nothing that's going to last. Forecast is for colder weather tomorrow.

About an hour earlier I'd have said 'not here it isn't', but on the way back from the LBS I definitely saw some stuff dropping out of the sky that was far too fluttery to be rain.

Given that Pugsley is currently sans rear wheel (awaiting rebuild as a singlespeed) I fully expect snowmageddon to descend.

EDIT: Yellow alert from the Met Office (which probably means there's a heatwave just round the corner) and I can just about see the railway line through blowing snow.

It is now proper snowing and settling. I want Spring. We had Spring this morning. Just for a little bit.

I phoned me mam from Gateshead this morning as we were in a blizzard, and not convinced a further 50 miles north was a good idea. She claimed it was sunny.

We've had more than one white out storm as we've travelled south.

Is anyone not completely sick of this?

Snow was settling on the top of the Blackdowns when I was out this afternoon.

It's been fairly good weather for the last week so it was a bit of a shock to the system being in the east wind

I was only out for about an hour and a half

Tonight's ride as just been officially cancelled!
It's still snowing and starting to stick, it's also blowing a gale!

I haven't been on the bike since Thursday

It snowed so heavily this morning I couldn't see across the street. For about five minutes. Then it stopped and the sun came out, but blimey it was cold.

Here (South Somerset) the snow is settling on the patio table, but not on the patio itself.
The biggest problem for riding in the morning would be wind chill.

Beautiful day today in between the blizzards. Pootled to church and back on the MTB and then went for a walk with Miss M in the Sidlaws. About 3-6" of snow on the ground, and the road was white in places heading home. Melting like fury though.

Freezing here, and I've just been disturbed by hail against the windows. there's a covering of snow and I've seen a solitary cyclist heading along East Street, in the direction of Siberia.

The lightest of dustings on dry surfaces here, but the wind is bitter.
However, as I drove in this morning (for I am an utter wimp) I passed a cyclist in shorts!

I took the ice tyres off last week, so I suppose this was inevitable.

Sunshine and heavy snowy showers here in Darlo. At least the roads were quiet and the drivers sensible for the commute. I reckon a lot of people had decided to come in later.

Swirly windy light flurries in London (by Buckingham Palace). Looks pretty from 4 floors up, but not settling.

Bl**dy cold this morning though more the wind chill I think. Not fun on a Brompton.
