Woke up to it this morning, nothing much: about an inch of wet snow that had already melted off the pavements and road. Between that, the VAT return and the dentist it's going to be a great day.

Snow all gone now, but thanks to what was here on Tues my arse is still broken and I couldn't sprint a few meters to catch the bus and had to wait another half hour. Bah.

Some horizontal snow today, but it didn't lie. The temperature dropped during the day and I had to de-ice my tyres for the commute home.

It's snowing here in N-u-L. It was a hard sleet but it's turned to fluffy stuff. Wasn't forecast, hope it buggers off soon!

Snow storm in Skipton - I counted 5 flakes in 2 minutes, shocking !!! Let's see how bad it will get over night as the weather moves over us.

Snowed here this morning, stuck to about 10mm deep. The sun then came out all afternoon and melted it. I got fairly excited at the prospect of my ride tonight.

It's now blowing a gale with horizontal heavy rain

We got about a cm snow/hail right now. Looks like it will be falling for a while yet but I'm sure it will not stay with us for long.

Nothing in Cambridge, yet, but it feels cold enough and the grey clouds are lurking like chavs on a street corner.

Apparently, oop north (NTR) they had snow yesterday, dunno if it is still there, has gotten worse, or has melted.

There was a light dusting on the 'hill' up to the top of the village, but only a few icy puddles down my way.

There was snow on the higher fells this morning (probably 500m+ at a guess) but it's raining heavily down here at sea level

Well we finally had some (very wet) snow on the Wolds yesterday morning and a light dusting overnight, All gone in the rain now. I was beginning to think we would have a winter with no snow at all,

About a fortnight late, I'd say, road-runner (I noticed the first snow - that doesn't settle, obv - in Poland usually falls to mark Independence Day! But maybe it takes a bit of time to cross the Tatry)
