Slow, gentle snow here.

We have about two inches now. Our local builders are sliding down our front street (it's very steep) on a wheel less skateboard. The dog isn't happy and is barking at them all to go away.

Just a few lazy flakes here in Bucks right now.

I don't share your sentiment bumper.
There's several inches of snow on the car (South MCR) and I'm supposed to be setting off into town to get a train to Crewe.
After that it's a ride to Cholmondeley* to meet up with friends for a ride around Cheshire and Shropshire.
I'm thinking about going down there in the car ................

*We're staying at the Cholmondeley Arms. Dry January is taking the weekend off.

No ............
Winter tyres on the car mind.

After a quick walk around outside (crunch, crunch, crunch) I think driving is the sensible option.

Snow here in NRW.

I bought a new car on Thursday but it doesn't have winter tyres so I can't use it today. Fortunately I have a Velomobile! Don't have to scrape the snow off that either, bonus!

You need a fat bike.

2hrs out in fresh powder around my local woods. Just a few rabbit tracks and my trail. I'll be out again tonight.

I may need to sacrifice more beer to the snow gods, it worked last time. Plleeeeaaassseee snow tonight/tomorrow so I can abandon work  ;D

Loooking out of my bedroom window this morning it was disappointingly not-white. Looks like nothing much settled here.

Maybe not in your part.....
SE had cars, roofs and bins covered in a thin smattering at 03:30 this morning.
That smattering remains.

When does the cabinet declare a State of Emergency?

When it starts interfering with trains north of the river.

Tilley dog quite enjoyed crazying about off lead in the snow this evening. She dives head-first into it, snorts, tries to eat it. Pees on snowmen. The normal dog-in-snow stuff.

Strange. Only a bit of frost outside out house and the surrounding streets. Off the estate though there was about an inch of snow the a kilometre further on nothing.

First really cold day of the year though.

There was some frozen precipitation in this corner of NW Londonton.

The evidence has mostly disappeared.
