We had a sprinkle late last night (12/01/2017) I'm more than happy t'was a sprinkle, sun is out now and I'm off without need of a snow plough

Just started to snow in Staffs.

Hopefully it'll be at least a foot deep by tonight so the fat bike can have an outing.

Working at home tomorrow so it can be 2ft deep, I couldn't care

In reality it'll only be a quarter inch covering $:-\$

If it is nice and frosty with a few inches of snow. That will give a much better ground for camping than the swamp we are now having.

Exactly that. There was no original felt, so even that addition will make a vast improvement.
The state of the joists and rafters was a joy and much relief financially. Not bad for 127 years.

Obviously, the battens in the photo all came off and were replaced. I now have enough kindling for years.

It's been lightly drifiting down all day here in the Fens, but not enough to do anything.

Actual real snowing predicted overnight. Good job my car passed it's MOT today, which means I can get it dirty again tomorrow

Very scant precipitation here all day.
High humidity, temperature around 1C and traces of Frozen too scanty to reach the ground before vaporising.
Most unimpressive.
