Dark snowstorm at the moment.
It is simpler than it looks.

Left work in time to get home before the snow. Complete white-out at the moment (in the Centre for the Cotswolds).
[edit]
Lasted for about 10 minutes, then sunshine. It's back with a vengeance now and I don't think it's going to stop.

TfL announcing signal failure on the Ginger Line and Southern Rail announcing cancellations from London Bridge (my only two options for getting home) meant that I left work just before 13:00 and am now home.
Sun's out, but in the 15 years that I've lived in this house, I have never known it to be this cold.

Our The Big Boss is sat opposite (in the pub), and i'm tempted to ask if it's worth coming in tomorrow.

For the second day running my home town is officially the coldest place in the UK.  -9C!

Just as well that the boiler is working well.  Oh hang on, it isn't.   :(

He says "maybe". But they'll let us know either way in the morning. Blizzard conditions outside the pub in Darlo.

Work is definitely on tomorrow! It's only half a mile and there's n2 bikes to mend.

Any more and I'm gonna struggle to move...

I drove to Malton this morning and it was ok, fairly clear, very cold and more drifting than snowing.   Since getting home at lunchtime its been getting grimmer and grimmer, and all that water is going to freeze fairly soon.  we should see -5 tonight with a feels like -10  so not venturing out seems sensible!
Definitely not driving to Milton Keynes in morning!

There is still snow on my lawn but the patio is mostly clear and dry.
Exterior temperature is just below freezing (-0.4C) and the sun will set soon.
The sun is shining...

Is it actually snowing in that London? Looks like I’m stuck on the tarmac at Milan for an hour before I can get home

Yes. Yes it is.
It's also surprisingly cold.

Looking out the window here at Tower Hill, there's snow on the ground, and it's currently snowing modestly.

Very minimally, in Edgware: equivalent of 'spitting'.

It is.
A flurry with little significant settling in LarringtonsvilleTM, earlier this afternoon.
Noticeably more in the Forest Hill of the South East, a couple of hours later.
I've been indoors for three hours.
I'm wearing a hat, a buff and gloves, and I am cold.
This is a first.
I don't think my CH (running on 'constant') is up to coping with this.

ETA - I'm surprised as to how easy it is to type whilst wearing gloves :D

Not much here, a flurry earlier that could have been confuse with a bad case of dandruff. Not sure, tbh, why they cancelled the bin collection, the roads are mostly clear and I wouldn't exactly describe the weather here as  severe, a modest chill and occasional snow flurry with, at most, 1 or 2 cm of snow that mostly quickly melted. There's some ice but, hey, it's winter.

I am a little impressed by the thermal retentiveness of the Asbestos Palace, which despite several unheated hours (the CH goes off between 9am and 5pm) and a temperature outside that didn't rise above zero managed to not fall below 16.5 degrees. My office, which benefit from catching the sun stayed toasty enough not to need to leccy radiator.

Mind you, I'm glad the CH is current on and set to Barbados.

We've just been for a walk round the village. Jeez it was cold.  Not sure I've felt a wind that cold before.  Just started really snowing hard as well.  Glad we made the decision earlier not to go to York tonight!

Just a few flakes here in the form of showers and apart from a few isolated patches of snow it is just cold and windy  :)

Just received a 4 pm email to say that rehearsal was on as normal. I took my own advice that said "if the journey is not essential, then don't attempt it".  I can't answer for the numpty behaviour of other drivers.

Git! It was 11 degrees in the bedroom when I woke up this morning. Which made me think of Pancho...

I don't think the temperature has risen above -3°C all day.

Yesterday I swept between 5 and 6 inches of snow off the car. Today, another 4 inches or so. It seems that we are not due any more.
