We walked to the next village, about an hour's walk there & back.  On the way back the snow turned to sleet, and of course we were walking upwind. Bleh.

We had our first air frost of the winter this morning but I don't think there's any snow forecast.

In Bognor Regis on Tuesday, we had a few damp snowflakes for about 20 minutes.  That'll be it for the next 5 years.

Bubble person and I took the forum sledge out and had some fun.

Even in these cautious times we were able to get a few little random children involved in hurling themselves downhill. Great fun!

It has now been passed on to a family with young children who were last seen making good use of it.

Just to reinforce the presence of ice, I've just had my first slide on ice this winter. But I wasn't riding, I was out for a run. And in fact at the point where I slid, I had as we say "caught up with Jeff". I suspect if I'd carried on running or even if I'd been on a bike, I wouldn't have noticed anything.

The sky was clear when I came in from my ride. it has clouded over now, but no precipitation is forecast - neither is a frost.
