My recently rediscovered pal from primary school used an expression today I hadn't heard before: a "blackthorn winter". Love it!

A warning for yellow SNO should be taken very seriously!

Here, nothing yet, but when I was out for a ride earlier, it went from +2 to -0.5 in about 20 minutes as the sun neared the horizon and i was lucky to get home with all extremities intact

A dusting at 0700 but now falling steadily like a Christmas card scene here in Stratford-upon-Avon . . . . looks like the Victorian Christmas Market that's taken over the town with 300+ stalls will be buggered today.
