Snowing, 1 degree and settling in mid Essex.  I haven’t ventured out but it looks the wet variety from the way it has stuck to the north and east faces of next door’s chimney stack.  Weather forecast is now for 10 wet days in a row, most of them just above freezing.

There was some settled overnight here in Sussex. Though when I went out to do the bird food it felt pretty wet.

Got into Chelmsford for the train OK.   Roads are fine although I was driving.   Wet snow in the City.

Umpteen weeks of drought and all of a sudden we're getting heavy wet snow dumped on us. I wanted the car washed. :(

It’s not snowing now.

South of Cheltenham.

Weather forecast looks OK for Furrybootoon today which is good cos I'd quite like to make it home from France. More snow forecast for Thur-Fri which will be a PITA being as I need to take the car for its MOT and service on Friday.
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

2cm in Bracknell but apart from the most local of roads everything was clear. A few flakes falling, but from the office you would think it was Monday or Friday. My boss in Hazelmere reports 10cm of snow so I understand his not commuting.

It's always "snow tomorrow", here.   I think the last snow we had was 10 December, a mere sprinkling.

Snowing on and off in Leafy Bucks/Herts borderlands. We had maybe 2cm on the cars and shed rooves this morning, but nothing on the roads anywhere around. It's now melted off all the parked cars, and isn't settling. We're supposed to get another 3-4cm overnight.

Light snow in Chester. Winds blowing around too much for it to settle.

My Dear Wife and I have booked 3 nights in Matlock from Friday. Today and tomorrow it's graced with hours upon hours of heavy snow. Then down to about -6°C on Saturday night.
Oh deep, deep joy snow.

The lumpy wet[1] non-settling snow that's been going most of the morning has been replaced by the finer blizzarding kind.  No sign of any of it settling.

[1] None of that carbon dioxide snow that they get in Matlock.

Wet crap here.  It's just below zero but it's falling as sleet and turning straight to water or slush.

We'll have to keep an eye on what is happening. The forecast is clearly for loads of snow but the temperature just above freezing. That can often mean quite deep accumulations anyway.

An absolute blizzard in York, 10.45 to 11.15. By 12 the ground was bone-dry again. More forecast for Friday.

It's finally thinking about settling, with a waffer-thin layer beginning to accumulate on bins and cars.

Sleety sort of rainfall here in SuA - limited settlement of slushy white stuff on the shed roof and greenhouse .... nothing on the ground . . . just wet.    Club(s) rides today and tomorrow cancelled.
