We had a dry sunny day in Liverpool.  At about 7 o'clock my Mum (4 miles away) said they were having heavy snow.  Looked out of the window & it was perfectly clear.   Had a shower, looked out again and it's tipping the stuff down, about 2" on my sheltered balcony.

I'm supposed to be up at daft o'clock tomorrow for a train to London !  Hope the West Coast line is OK !

we have had a 1cm snow this morning here in slough . un gritted roads are nice and icy an the new spiked tyre on the antrotech is great :thumbsup:

about 1/2 cm here but it's very, very cold & sparkly out

Forecast is for a shedload by tomorrow.  Just a bit further West there's been more snow than they've seen in almost 30 years.  Maybe we'll get it, maybe we won't.

Lots of flurries of large wet flakes here in Darlo yesterday, but it completely failed to lay. 

It's just cold, crisp and sunny.  Proper winter :)

Spoke to Mum and Salisbury has had heavy snow.  It's supposedly heading our way - but the Beeb has us having no more snow for the next week.

Once I've finished tidying up, I shall venture outside and head into the city to get Jon's Christmas pressie.
