It will never snow again in England. We have each bought a set of "snow sock" get-you-home snow thingies for our cars, therefore this will prevent snow from settling, ever.

Mind you, I've also got an umbrella in the back of the car, and its pissing down out there...

Look out if you live on the Isle of Wight. My Great niece is four today. She has vivid memories of it snowing on her third birthday and has therefore informed everybody that it will snow today because it is her birthday.

It certainly is snowing...again.Enough to make the roads a bit "iffy"( a car has just failed to make a 90 degree turn into the close off the main road & slide sideways across the junction

It's sticking & there's not enough traffic to make tracks in the snow.
I was intending to ride today making the first consecutive-days (IYSWIM) effort for some long while. $:-\$

Bloody stuff, bugger off! I was supposed to be doing "Goodbye XMas Yorkshire Pud" on Sunday, which was cancelled last year because of the snow. I'd quite like to do it this year.

The snow is transient today - it'll soon change to rain, and warm up

Considering the warm weather recently, it's building up impressively fast.

I'm supposed to be working on the boats this weekend - why couldn't it have snowed at new year when I was being lazy at home?

My metcheck just played nasty tricks on me, I was checking tomorrow and sundays weather for the bristol area and it had winds between 28 and 40 mph for 2 days! However closing and reopening and refreshing has sent it back to normal 9-13 mph thank god!

Same here in Glasgow. Just hope everything clears up for getting across to Edinburgh Sunday morning.

Ha, 9°C here now! Still ice on the roads though. Near Ivo everything is melting so fast + current rain that the Meuse is about to flood.

Melting again here. I think it's about zero, though on Wednesday it was -10 in the morning and -8 at midday. Rain and 5 or 6 predicted for tomorrow. Not nice.
