Kernow wild life

There wasn't a huge number to be seen on the weekend 600. Backside of a deer as it disappeared through the hedge, a number of suicidal rabbits, the unsettling cry of a buzzard very close overhead, and flittering bats at dusk — one of which hit me in the face. Quite hard.

I got hit in the face by a bat in our lane last week. I always thought they were supposed to have sonar and jink out of the way at the last minute. It gave me quite a shock.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.
