UTILIKILTS : American Made Utility Kilts for Everyday Wear

I'm sooo going to have one of these, why did I not know about these years ago ? I think the Survival just suit me to a tee ...

Quote
Whether you’re climbing a mountain, planning a three-week sojourn into the back woods or just looking for a way to carry 20 bottles of beer, the Survival is the kilt for you.

And the next thing is that you would blame me for the lack of women too :)

If you wear that in a Commando Stylee whilst working up a ladder, they will deport you, you know...

I'm with you on this, wooly, the Utilikilt is well cool - I'd definitely wear one, and I would definitely try and hang 20 beers off it!

Kilts are cool.  Kilts are very cool.  Ultra-cool, in fact, and very flattering to the male physique.    Utilikilts?  I think the Yanks have missed the point...

A friend has a leather one. I've been jealous for a long time, I think they look cool and practical. My wife disagrees. I'm allowed a kilt someday, maybe, but not a utilikilt.

They're ver' nice.  I've had a black Utilikilt on my wishlist for ages.  You need bike shorts under a kilt to ride, though, or you get a hell of a wedgie (the ten miles across London before 06's DD were interesting)  :D
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I guess they had to make the thing more overtly masculine than your traditional kilt for the American market? ::-) I've only worn a proper kilt once - for my brothers wedding (his wife is Caledonian). We went all out with the Bonnie Prince Charlie jackets and everything - we looked really smart.

I did also wear a skirt to the pub once for a laugh, no-one commented - I had a completely shaved head at the time, maybe I looked like a bit of a nutter... ;)

Given the lack of yer actual hips on most young blokes, I'd love to see the video evidence of 20 bottles of beer being carried in said kilt while walking anywhere.  :o
Do not clench. It only makes it worse.

Ah well. Let's not ask who wears the skirt in that relationship then?

Actually, I'm well informed that the laydees rather go for a man in a kilt,
so Peli may well have an ulterior motive there Wooly.

It's definitely a skirt, and I'll be over here waiting for my spanking.

I just came down from the Isle of Romo
I'm very big but I'm awful shy
All the lassies shout as I walk by,
"Wooly, Where's Your Troosers?"

Let the wind blow high and the wind blow low
Cycling the streets in my kilt I go
All the lassies cry, "Hello!
Wooly, where's your Troosers?"
