Our little beck down the ginnel is at the lowest I have seen it since we move here last year. Up to 8mm is expected tomorrow afternoon/evening.

The ginnel at the bottom of our street even has its own street sign (Street View thinks it's a car registration plate and has blurred it out.)

I phoned my brother a few minutes ago to wish him a happy 66th birthday. We discussed his deluge, which fell in the early hours of Friday morning. Ours, about 15 miles away, was between 8 an 9pm on Friday. Witham's, about 25 miles from us and probably about 15 from my brother, was at around 5am on Saturday.

Different towns, different deluges.
