Manchester airport parking
« on: 05 February, 2015, 09:42:20 pm »
I'm flying out from Manchester early on the 27 Feb and back in on the 1 March mid afternoon.

It is sadly not the easiest airport to get to go on public transport for us. I need to get there early so it is a no go.

So what is the going rate for parking, it can't be £30-40 as I found?

Is there a place nearby that I can park safely for less and still get to the airport on time? Or do the pannel got an better idea?

What time do you call 'early'? Are you insured 'any driver'?

PM me, I'll see if I can help . . .

Need to be there at 7am. The car is insured in our names only. Thanks.

I think trains run through the night to Manchester Airport.

there is a gap that makes it very difficult to catch early flights.

I've driven MsC to Manch a couple of times because of this, and have had to sit in the airport for 6 hours because we missed the last train coming out of the airport.

But we live in Skipton, so I gotta take a train to Leeds then to Manchester. First train to arrive is 8:10am which is a bit too close to departure for my liking. That said I could arrive the night before, how late are the pub (are there any) open :)
