I  don't think a motor would have made much difference - it was going downhill.  It's just a flukey bit of staying-upright I think

Probably helped by it following a rut in the track for a while.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I wonder if it had spectacularly heavy wheels

The banked corner would have helped to as the bike starts to fall to the left the banking rebalances it.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I think the downhill is steeper than it looks.

Momentum, and a fluke that it stays up and goes round the corner as neatly as that (of course assisted by the bank).  A motor wouldn't have helped with the steering, and that's the best bit.

The bike has plenty of trail to make it stable.

Long travel forks.

Lazy head angle like a tourer.

They sag when you are on the bike and it gets more racey when you sit on it and compress the forks an inch or so, they are set up that way so the fork extends down into bumbs and dips as well as compressing off the bumps, get off and it kicks it right back.

That and the fairly rigid disc brake hose will keep the steering straight as well.

I love the way the guy goes sprinting right out of the shot, I wonder if he managed to jump back on before it fell over?

i wonder whether he would have been disqualified if his bike had finished without him, like riderless horses in the grand national?

When I was a kid I spent a good part of an afternoon rolling one of my dad's old bikes down a very lumpy grassy slope.

It almost always made it to the bottom. Frequently it would make it a long way uphill through the woods on the other side until it was almost stationary, at which point it would just flop over. Sometimes of course it would hit a tree.
