I'm in Wales for the weekend and I have Internet access.  :D

For anyone thinking about 3 mobile broadband .... don't do it  >:(

Try T-Mobile mobile broadband.  Used to work for them, don't now but was always impressed.  Now work for O2, don't use their mobile broadband - yet.

Peli is back did 50miles today and she did very well :)

Ok not as fit as last year but well fit, I'm not looking forward to the summer as it will be hard work keeping up with her since she have found her cycling legs again :)
Well, I'm not so sure about 'well fit', but it was a lovely ride.

Blimey, was it hot and muggy! Sweat was dripping off the end of my (very long) ponytail. And poor Woolly doesn't even have any hair to deflect the perspiration!  :o

we just moved back into our house!!!!

[dancing smiley]

after 8 months of renting smelly bungalow, the removal men carefully picked up all our stuff, carried it 200 yards down the road and have deposited it in our old/new house!!!

there's still quite a lot for the builders to do but most of it is outside so they can do it round us  [apart from the damage from the leak when they tested the central heating on friday.   Grrrrr].

All I care about is that I'm typing this sitting at our kitchen table, halfway through my second beer, with the cats purring on the seats either side of me  and Mrs Mike trying to decifer the instructions for the new oven so she can heat up our takeaway  :D

photos of bike storage / housewarming invitations to follow :)

luckily, its good 'tea and cake' distance from the 'uts, where Mr W'Bagger is organising an autumn pissup :)

and if anyone is passing [and knows where we are], you're v. welcome to pop in for tea!!

Since this is in August, I think it has to be regarded as a dress rehearsal for an autumn pissup.

My friend had a baby girl last night. It was a difficult pregnancy which ended with an emergency c-section 10 days early, but they're both fine now.

Our O2 broadband should be switched on by Friday. Got the wireless router yesterday so now we are just waiting for the text/e-mail to say it is activated. 8mb download for £7.50 per month.

I just had a call with a client who confirmed we've won a big contract we've been fighting over for about six months.  I was bought in about 2 months ago when they were complaining about the original sales guy, so he did all the hard work and I got all the glory :D
