I spotted a man walking along Bunbury Road in Northfield wearing a dressing gown and clutching an (empty looking) mug earlier.  I asked if he knew where his towel was, but I don't think he heard me.

I have a hard time thinking of a book that has influenced me more.
I don't tend to get starstruck, but I was when I met him for the first time. (My slightly famous boss and I gatecrashed his companys Xmas party). I mumbled something about loving his work, he said thanks and we chatted happily for , I dunno, 5-10 mins.
 I met him again a few years later at software release thing and he actually came up to me and said hello.
Just a genuinely nice bloke and I'm still upset that he passed away too early.
