I know us blokes like to tough things out ("it's only a flesh wound" ) ..... but I think I'd have been seeing my GP a little earlier..... :o

You'd be surprised how many men have enormous testicular growths of various aetiology.  Hernias, hydroceles, tumours - you name it, blokes will ignore it.

My Grandad's testicular hernia is the size of a football, it affects his walking, but he refuses to have surgery.  Just a flesh wound is about right for his attitude  ::-)

Some of us are right wimps, though, and get seen as soon as possible at the slightest thing that goes wrong.
