Trent Bridge Match Day parking - Sunday
« on: 07 June, 2008, 08:13:00 pm »
Does anyone have any guidance for where to park for tomorrow's final day of the Test Match?

We'll probably only be there for half an hour.  :'(

PS. Sorry Regulator.  ;D ;D

Well, any of the "Waiting limited to 30 minutes, return prohibited within 4 hours" bays should do.

You'll probably see more cricket than I did at the Saturday of Lord's (rain).

There always used to be parking by the river, on the bank diagonally opposite the ground. Alternatively 5 - 10 minutes walk southwards is all residential roads that should do you.

I think that's 20 minutes more than I saw at Lord's.

We gave up sitting in the rain at around 4pm. We'd passed the time by drinking beer so it wasn't too bad.

A good cricket ground on a lovely day is a beautiful sight. It's a shame they allowed the game to be ruined with too many commercial interests.

And Trent Bridge is, for my money, the best test ground
