I can't help feeling that this attitude relates to the Bike Stormz events and even a lot of Critical Mass. It's not about bike riding as an activity exactly, it's not protest for cycling's sake or even for protest's sake, but there is an element of artistic self-expression.

I thought this was going to be about the British TallBike Tour adventure...

TallBike Tour Britain. (6000 miles around the British coast on tallbikes)  :D

Was it really 11 years ago.

Blimey!
I remember meeting up with them somewhere around the Tower of London, and riding with them back to Buck House.
Roger the Hilldodger was there on his ordinary, as was Jo OTP (not on an ordinary).

I rode with them on the Wobblebike from the start at Buckingham Palace, to the Cutty Sark, round the Norfolk Coast from King's Lynn to around Sherringham (& back to KL for me - 80ish miles on the Wobblebike) and from the Tower to Buck house at the finish.  :smug:

I was persuaded to build a tallbike for a Tallbike 'Welcome home' festival in Leiceter too (I started building it a week before the festival...
