Dr Ian Walker has gone and finished his Europe end to end record attempt, in 16 days 20 hours 59 minutes. Taking over 2.5 days off the previous effort, set just a month or so ago.
He did a monster 500+km on the last 'day'*, to complete the ride.

Amazing effort. I am particularly impressed how little he seemed to slow down as the miles added up. Also he seemed ridiculously cheerful in his video clips posted to Twitter.
