Next year, the ACP are offering 200km and 300km brevets for women on 15 June 2024 starting from Pantin (north-east Paris), amongst their other brevets.

"C’est bien sûr aussi le cas des BRM 200 nanas, dans leurs versions 200 et 300km au départ de Pantin (93) avec une trace renouvelée, afin de découvrir de nouvelles routes et nouveaux paysages."

Translated by google: This is of course also the case of the BRM 200 [nanas], in their 200 and 300km versions departing from Pantin (93) with a renewed route, in order to discover new roads and new landscapes.

"The BRM200 and BRM300 Nanas are intended for women, some register for this reason, please respect this as much as possible.
If some women feel the need, they can sponsor a man to accompany them, but under certain conditions:
They will not have access to the aid stations,
They will not have access to the goodies
The BRM will not be validated (as a "finisher")
They will not be able to buy the medal
They must register online on the ACP website and provide their contact details to benefit from the club's insurance"

Sorry. Does this mean there are blokes trying to register for a women-only audax? Or is it just saying it attracts riders who wouldn't have otherwise registered because they want to ride in the company of other women only?

It is saying that a man can only ride if a participating woman insists that the bloke rides with them. In such cases, the bloke gets no benefit from entering the event. I expect this provision is to cover mixed tandem teams and suchlike.

This particular brevet aims to exclude blokes, which is fine in my eyes.

Agreed. I have no problem with it excluding men. I think I've just been reading so many Angry Men [TM] reacting to the bear in the woods scenario of late that I assumed this note had been put out because there were guys thinking they could join in just to be surrounded by women. Rather than, what is way more likely, a perfectly reasonable clarification by organisers for women who need or want a male companion.
