PixieAnnie in Lifecycle in Bildeston, or rather she spotted me in my orange YACF top and introduced herself.

Yes, having a quiet rest and who should approach but the YACF police/termination squad, perfectly gender balanced in  pink and blue YACF tops :)

Thanks to both of you for a wonderful day.

I would tick you off for mispelling Edisford, except you both - to my shame - clearly know my home turf better than I do, very definitely from a cycling perspective.

I see T in blue said you'd managed to avoid all the hills - not me on my way back through the trough - stopped briefly to, er, "admire the view" on the way up to the Jubilee Tower and then had to get off and walk a short bit on the hill between Whitewell and Cow Ark.

Wonderful trip through the beautiful trough none the less and I'm pretty sure I actually recognised the spot where, donkey's years ago, aged 12 on my last trip through here on a bike, my mate RB positively refused to give me any of his food or drink when I opened my cardboard saddlebag to realise to my horror that I'd left everything at home. Bastard :)

Thanks again for a great day - hope to repeat/ring the changes on it sometime.

alexb: you nailed the Balham-Tooting Bec straight - turbo canvass!

One of my favourite bits of my commute. Although I love Tooting Bec Road in the morning. If the wind is right I can usually hit 50kph by the time I've passed the bus stop which catches most cars out!

clarion in his black YACF top, as he was leaving Clapham Common heading towards London, I was waiting at the lights going the other way  so that I could do another loop of the park.

Sorry, didn't spot you, mate :(

I think I spotted Origamist by the road, parking his bike last night.  Can't remember exactly where.
Getting there...

You didn't have much chance,  i had just stopped at a side road waiting to turn right,  as you went across the junction.  Took me till you had cleared the junction to wake up and realize that i should have shouted hello,  but by that time you where gone...

Had I not had another lap to do, I would have sprinted after you to say hello..   Which was tempting to be honest given that it was raining.

First p*nct*r* in 4 months, so I'm not complaining. Parked up just after Balham tube...

@Darkpoint - where you wearing a YACF jersey with Dulwich Paragon shorts this morning? If so, I passed you at Stockwell doing some useless hand gestures...

Basil.  Do you ever leave that pub, and are you surfing YACF from therein?

I just spotted a yacf jersey in the wild! Between Harlton and Haslingfield. I suspect Dr Mekon but any cranial abnormalities were hidden by headgear.

I don't think this counts as proof of passage, you know.

The lovely Uncle James, a lurker here, was doing Bikeability cycle training between Melton and Woodbridge today and reports that Charlotte came past with a very heavily-laden bike full of panniers, and another lady as yet unknown to James (whose description is remarkably similar to PixieAnnie's). He said hello and they said hello back but may not have recognised him.

I rode past the Country Girl on the bent again this evening.  No obvious sign of Basil.  Maybe he'd nipped to the loo or something?   ;)

At least it wasn't the hoover into his lap-top.  Or maybe it was, and he was therefore in A&E.
