@Cycleman, did you make it home ok? How's the new tyre?
For me, explorering, COR, chats with mountainbikers (apparently I was bikepacking), rear puncture, chain deshipment, change of plan to avoid traffic displaced from the M4 due to a tanker spillage (I think), and then the discovery that I hadn't reattached the left pannier correctly following the puncture – as it bounced off over a root-bump on the BBRP. That would explain why the back of the bike had felt a bit wiggly. Just as well it didn't happen on the road, and as it's a Carradice, scuffs only add to the patina. Finally, lending my pump to a distressed cyclist. Today I have a tube to mend.
