It sounds like a great ride ,I thought about you all as I fullfilled some cycle offsetting by accompanying Mrs onb to Harrogate flower show on saturday.

Grand ride - well done to all of you: There was a lot of climbing there.  I've done a lot of it, but generally one at a time.

I know the Trawden to Clarion House bit well - I got the Knock there once really badly, but I was determined to see Clarion House, which is now a private residence :(  so I staggered up on wobbly legs.  Bad idea.

Beautiful scenery rewarding just about every climb on your circuit, though.  Great day out - put your feet up. :)

Having read that superb RR I am now glad I didn't risk it.Not because of the torture involved but TKP's authorship & pics make being there entirely superfluous.I now realise that I dont need to benefit from the TKP DLWG because I don't need to be on any ride which will be reported on by TKP to feel as though I have BTDTGTTS. So I can get gain without pain.
