This looks promising.

They are expecting us about 11.30.

That will do nicely, well done WB.

Ham egg and chips for me please.

Vegetarian selection is a bit shit, isn't it? :(

So, who will be meeting up at Liverpool Street for groupsave ticketing goodness?

I'll be aiming to arrive at LST at or around 08:30 to take advantage of the above thriftfest.

Maybe you will find some body parts on the ride as Cottered will be almost on your route?

I rode through Wheathampstead Common on Sunday evening.

I'm phoning them in the morning. Would you like to make a suggestion and I'll ask them if they can do it for you?

So, that'll be two of us, not quite enough for a groupsave, but hopefully someone else will turn up!

I've just prepared all my mapping for the next two days, I must remember to load it onto the GPS tomorrow!

Mrs. Wow and I will be cycling in from Ealing. I suppose we'll need to set off around 7.30. We'll be up for a group save.

Good stuff, that'll be a minimum of four of us then.

I forgot you were in town for the Party.  Will you be bringing Dez with you on the ride then? ;D

Sorry Wow, I didn't mean to be a whinger, which I think is what I sound like there :-[

If they can do a lentil soup, that'd be great - I'd have that with a bowl of chips.  Most vegetarian soups are good for me - a veggie minestrone, or even tomato.

I'm not trying to be awkward - it just comes naturally to me! ;D

Thank you. :)

I should also be around to get in on any groupsave action, usual disclaimer about being able to get out of bed permitting, my bed is seeming ever so attractive at the moment so if I don’t turn up you’ll know what’s won, but if it’s a sunny day that will help...

Can I have eggs and chips Wow (no ham), ta very much :)

Actually, Mr Wow - just to be indecisive about the food again - I'd like to go with the same as NSTN (2 egg chips NO ham!), if that's OK - soup & chips as fallback option.

I'm not normally so much trouble - honest!

Oyster mushroom, leek & pine nut parcels for me, if it's not too late - couldn't access the site at all yesterday!

Del, I'll aim to be ready to leave home at 7 - call or text when you're approaching Chelmsford.

Both PCs and the laptop have just been returned and all are in working order.

I will opt for a simple toasted sandwich or if the soup is lentil then that will do instead.

Good to be back.

Food ordered with an ETA of 1p.m. The soup will be tomato.

It's bloody Greene King pub so I'll have to slum it with Abbott I think.

Whenever I hear this I have Monty Python deja vu:

Quote
Wife:   Have you got anything without spam?
Waitress:   Well, there's spam egg sausage and spam, that's not got much spam in it.
Wife:   I don't want ANY spam!
Man:   Why can't she have egg bacon spam and sausage?
Wife:   THAT'S got spam in it!
Man:   Hasn't got as much spam in it as spam egg sausage and spam, has it?
Vikings:   Spam spam spam spam... (Crescendo through next few lines...)
Wife:   Could you do the egg bacon spam and sausage without the spam then?
Waitress:   Urgghh!
Wife:   What do you mean 'Urgghh'? I don't like spam!

;D
Actually, it is rocket science.

I am cycling from Norwich (Narridge - Mr W) to Westmill (a picturesque little village next to Buntingford) on Saturday morning for family refreshments & socialising, but not arriving until early afternoon. Sorry to miss you guys, but its about 85 miles & I am not a very early riser ;-)

Have a good day.  :)

PM the address and we'll drop in (not unlike a plaque of locusts) and make sure that the beverages and food are of sufficient quality and quantity for cyclists.  :P
Be a shame not to as we'll be so close.   ::-)

Bugger - just read the whole thread & you are at Westmill for 11ses. I may/possibly just get up Very early. Watch out for the Jack Russell terriers - Westmill is plagued with them. I have seen 8 of them at once in the Pub (Yes its just round the corner Mr Wow, next to the church).  ;D

Bugger, I knew going to the YACF 1st Birthday Party and doing the WARTY in quick succession was never going to work, and I was right!

I woke up with just enough time to not get to the station. :-\  Ho hum.  Hopefully the rest of you got up early enough, and are not too hungover to have a good time.

Just telephoned this through to Mrs Wow - I was woken up at 10:05 by my dad phoning to ask me to check the forum for any news of where you were.
