A bit of an unlikely bump but we have just passed the Joan Croft Lane level crossing referred to above. But it isn't any more. There is a road bridge there instead. In a sense that is a bit of a shame but it's better than closing the road. I hope the lovely chap who made us a cup of tea has found an equally satisfying job.
