Just like to add that it is 'Hopstock' at the Compasses this weekend [and Friday]....I'm thinking of diverting the Flitchikes Saturday morning run there for a cheeky lunchtime pint.

Or maybe down it on the return journey after a classic bit of comedy off-roading under the A12.  Huggy and I need to swing by The Compasses on the outward leg to collect some lost property.

I might be able to make a sojourn to the White Hart on Weds. It's not out of the question by any means.

The very same. Fancy dress is not obligatory.

However, if Christophe is going to put in an appearance it could be the ideal opportunity to pass on the Reindeer Musky Pelt of Destiny  :D
and as THAT time of year has now been mentioned it's probably about time to start delegating officer duties for the Do!

Regarding this evening ...

There is a plan for the Witham peloton to leave the Spa Road roundabout at 1900hrs.  We need to swing by The Compasses to collect some lost property so this route starts there are finishes back in Witham.  There are some comedy off-roading segments but nothing that can't be done on a road bike.

I'm doubtful for tonight. Off with the kiddiwnks this week and Mrs C. is working all hours at the moment so may have to stay in.

Can I put a request in for next week's mid week to be not so mid week - more specifically Thursday as I would be a definite for then.

Don't you mean "Where"?  There's no excuse for pour spelling.

If I can get out of this place in good time I will come along and pretend that there is no actual problem with my bike is in my head....it was feeling very slow up the hills last night though!
