BBC News - London hit songs mapped

Pretty poor effort.  Let's see how many they've missed in Greater London.

Cricklewood - Snuff
Upminster Kid - Ian Dury
Down In The Tube Station at Midnight - The Jam
Lambeth Walk (from Me and My Girl)
West End Girls - Pet Shop Boys

Pushing it a bit, there's East 17, who also called one of their albums Walthamstow.

Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Another album, Dancing on Frith Street by the Loose Tubes

There's The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, but Genesis don't make it clear if it's Tooting or Ealing ;D

Dagenham Dave - Stranglers
The guns of Brixton - The Clash

There are quite a few songs that are London in title, does this have to be a specific place in London?

Jools Holland's Geographer's Guide to the Piano gives you 15 more.

But for a proper music map, all bow down to the might of the Map of Metal
