So I have an automated eBay search for bikes for sale within a certain radius of my house.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Recumbent-Bike-SKY-BIKE-DELUX-PREMIUM-/200911611432?var=&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:GB:1123
Wonder how much that weighs?
It does have a steering wheel and a beeper tho'.
-
That does look seriously shite.

Do check the website... WWW.SKY-BIKE.CO.UK (http://www.sky-bike.co.uk/)
-
And it's only £2k. Bargainacious!
Hmm, the inventors would appear to be Polish. Well, I've never seen anything like it there and really doubt I ever will!
-
looks like it needs e assist to go up hill ???
-
I don't know why, but it reminds me of a Honda Goldwing. (shudder)
History:0 sold
Oh the shock(!)

But slightly heavier!!
The claims in the 'specifications' make quite amusing reading though.

I have!
It is very much based on the original Mochet (http://www.mochet.org/Liegerader/liegerader.html)design pioneered all these years ago in the 1930's

I'm pretty certain one version of the Mochet style had a steering wheel, too.
-
I don't get it - why a steering wheel? It's not as if it can turn several revolutions, and if it did gear down the steering would make using the brakes a problem.

It gives it nice smooth edges so it won't damage a car when they swerve into it due to the driver laughing to much ................. ;D
