May as well get this off the ground. Those who have previously joined us know the form, others are very welcome.

Pitching for tents and space for vans. Back of The Green Man pub in Long Itchington with use of loos overnight. No showers on site but some a couple of miles up the road if you're so inclined.

Friday evening fish supper in teh pubbe. Some of us you will continue to drink late into the evening.

Long Itch diner breakfast to start off Saturday. Given numbers I am tempted to ask who would like a breakfast table booking for 09:00 allowing a ride start no later than 10:00.

Tradition dictates that we then ride out to Cannons Ashby. This is a National Trust venue so the food can be slightly overpriced though I guess those from the south east might not notice.

The ride will start at 10:00 prompt from the campsite. I will send out the group with Mlle PB and hang about for five minutes to mop up laggards, but no longer than that.

Evening meal together in another pubbe in Long Itchington (it has six pubs ... ) on Saturday. Booked in for 19:30 though Basil will be late

Sunday is a day of relaxation and folk peeling off at their leisure wending their way.

No preference as to dates as yet.

Will see what barakta thinks nearer the time. It's within her electrified capabilities, assuming that we can get a few hours with a mains socket in the pub each night. But she's not a big fan of lightweight camping.

Although 9 - 11 is a short w/e for me, I'll vote for it. I'd be killed to deth if I chose the following week as it will be Mrs. B's birthday.

I am keen to attend and meet more yacffers in the flesh, if work doesn't get in the way again. 9-11 is slightly preferable but currently free on both.

(the bacon butties are a bit superfluous given that there is a very good greasy spoon a few mins cycling away). Highly recommended week end in convivial company.

I think that I've now added it to the calendar for 9th to 11th May as it's always good to get a date fixed early.

I hesitated because I have not yet soted my dates for Scotland. I suppose the earlier weekend would be best for me. Put down as a stong possibilty.
